When a loved one enters hospice, the focus of their care shifts. It turns to keeping your loved one comfortable and free of pain. At Home Care of Arizona, we provide hospice support care. As part
of our support care service, caregivers who have experience working with clients in hospice at home will come in to assist with:

Companionship: Keeping your loved one company when you need to run errands or need respite.

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Activities like assisting with bathing, dressing grooming, and doing laundry.

Meal Preparation: Cooking and preparing meals for clients.

Every caregiver at Home Care of Arizona is background-screened, insured, and trained. Hospice support caregivers have at least one year of experience caring for hospice clients.

Hospice care can be a difficult transition for clients and family members alike. Because our caregivers have specific experience working with hospice clients at home, they understand the physical and emotional toll this type of care can take on a family. Our hospice care support service is intended to give families the help and the support they need during their time in hospice with a loved one.
